Haven House Children’s Hospice

Haven House Children’s Hospice is a nurse-led hospice for seriously ill babies, children and young people under 19, proving round the clock care everyday. They are based in Woodford Green, Essex.

As many such charities they rely on voluntary income to support children and their families.

They provide short stay respite, end of life care, Hospice at Home and a range of holistic therapies including music therapy.

Music therapy is delivered by a registered music therapist in weekly sessions, ad-hoc sessions when the children are in care, a “Wriggles and Rhymes” pre-school group, end of life care and work with a Teenage cancer Group.

In 2019 they forecast supporting 120 children with Music Therapy across 371 sessions.
