Welcome to the Harry-Krish Mootoosamy Foundation

Thank-you for your interest in the Harry-Krish Mootoosamy Foundation.

Harry-Krish lived 39 very happy and full years and we want to honour his life and celebrate the time he was with us. We aim to make a difference to children and bring them some light, just as he did with his wonderful personality and warm smile to everyone who knew him.

A week after celebrating his 39th Birthday, Harry-Krish was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. His children were 1, 3 and 5. He fought bravely against the disease for 7 long and tough months and left a young wife, his parents and a large community of devastated family and friends.

Around £65,000 was raised in those first few years since 2014 for Pancreatic Cancer UK, driven by love for Harry-Krish and one day it dawned on us that we should be remembering and celebrating how he lived and the idea for the Foundation was born.

Building on two passions of Harry-Krish’s life and wanting to help fight against an awful, life-threatening disease, we have established this Foundation in his name.

This Foundation will, in essence;

The Foundation is based in St Albans near where Harry-Krish lived most of his life.
